Pillow Talk (1959)
This ’50s classic is the best flick for immersing yourself in a retro style, especially since this rom-com’s female lead, Jan Morrow (Doris Day), is an interior designer. Penelope (2008)
This story of a wealthy girl cursed with the nose of a pig is a touching, modern fairy tale that inspires us to appreciate all the beautiful quirks that make us special. And all this whimsical, wholesome charm is on display in the titular main character Penelope’s (Christina Ricci) bedroom.
