Sonic the Hedgehog
Sonic the Hedgehog is one of the most recognizable video game characters of all time, and he’s headed to the big screen on February 14, 2020. Sonic notably received quite the backlash after the first trailer revealed his live-action look.
The live-action design has now been changed to reflect Sonic’s traditional video game look

Halo
Like Uncharted, a Halo film has been in the works for years, with filmmakers like Peter Jackson involved. Halo is now moving forward as a live-action television series that will air on Showtime in 2021 and star Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners
The anime series Cyberpunk Edgerunners is set in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe. Hiroyuki Imaishi (Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill, Promare) directed it, and Akira Yamaoka composed the original score (Silent Hill). Super Mario Bros.
A final project among the most anticipated video game movies and TV shows in the works is one centered on Super Mario Bros. The property is notorious for its failed live-action attempt back in 1993, but an animated film is planned for 2022 from Illumination, the studio responsible for the Despicable Me films. Super Mario Bros. video game series has been delayed to 2023.
Untitled Knuckles Series
The Last of Us is a 2013 action-adventure game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. Players control Joel, a smuggler tasked with escorting a teenage girl, Ellie, across the post-apocalyptic United States.
The Last of Us is played from a third-person perspective. Sonic the Hedgehog's Knuckles will have his own series on Paramount+, with Idris Elba reprising his role as Knuckles from Sonic 2. The live-action series will premiere in 2023 on Paramount+.
