Who is Hans Christian Andersen?

Hans Christian Andersen is a Danish author who is best known for his fairy tales. As a child, he had a deep love of storytelling and would often invent stories to entertain himself and others.

Andersen's career as an author began at the age of 14 to pursue his passion for writing. He started out writing plays but soon turned to fairy tales, which would become his most famous works. Some of his most popular stories include “The Little Mermaid,” “The Ugly Duckling,” and “The Emperor's New Clothes.”
