The fun is served up on a mind-scrambling menu of educational brain teasers and puzzles, presented by a truly nutty band of state-of-the-art animated characters. Subjects like history, math, spelling and nature have never been so much fun to learn!

Motivation is so powerful that, combined with a little science, it can improve the world. Behavior researcher/author Daniel Pink shows how persuasion can reduce stress, minimize annoyances, improve health, and build happiness.

Using hidden cameras — and a bit of guilt, fear, shame, and outright lies — Pink gets New Orleans partiers to clean trash-filled streets, calms a crush of patrons at a Brooklyn pizzeria, and creates a “musical road” in New Mexico that rewards drivers for obeying speed limits. Pink's best-sellers are in 34 languages, and he has delivered more than 1,000 lectures worldwide.

Weird but True

The brother-sister duo of Charlie and Kirby Engelman hosts this series that explores the science between the planet and its wildlife. A different topic is explored in each episode by ecologist Charlie and artist Kirby.

The siblings look to inspire young people to question the “how” and “why” behind the way the world works and encourage the viewers to go out and try to discover the answers to their own questions about the world. The series is produced in association with National Geographic Kids, and both hosts are National Geographic Junior Explorers. | Stream on Disney+

QI

`QI' is a quite an interesting quiz show in that correct answers are not necessarily the goal. But responding to presenter Sandi Toksvig's mostly obscure questions in a funny or interesting way, regardless of whether the response includes a right answer, is what scores point.

And points are deducted if answers merely repeat common misconceptions and urban myths. It's OK to be wrong, but don't be obviously, boringly wrong. Toksvig welcomes to each episode a four-person panel made up of comedians, writers, and broadcasters, plus permanent guest Alan Davies.

Street Genius

Host Tim Shaw takes science out of the lab and onto the streets of America as he looks to amaze and dumbfound in equal measure.

The irreverent “game show” offers the people Shaw meets — and viewers — the chance to predict the outcomes of a series of increasingly spectacular experiments, and once correct answers are revealed, the science behind each probe is explained. With explosive results and shattering conclusions, Shaw reveals the effect of everyday science on the world around us.
